The f irst major task with a new client i s to meet with each department head of the staff to get to know each other, further express the support and ass ista nce we can provide and discuss the needs of the department that cou ld be funded through grant acquisition. We met with se vera l staff members in for this initia l brain stormin g sessio n to develop the Need s Assessment for the City. Langton t h en heavily researched granting opportunities that cou l d be applied for to fund the various projects . Follow up meetings took p l ace in June with the department staff to f lush out the Initial Needs Assessment project li st and potential fund ing. Lan gton Associates has assisted the City of Atlantic Beach staff with 3 grants submittals in 2015 . All 3 grant applications are still in the Pending status.
