Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has fa d your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordi ances,to wit:
VIOLATION
304.7 Roofs and drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have defects that
admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or
interior portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good
repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a
public nuisance. (Roof in disrepair,tarp, and roofing material on roof)

This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by within ten (10) days of the
receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforceme t Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:
VIOLATIONS C-
IPMC Sec 303.1 Private swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas containing water more than twenty
four inches in depth shall be completely surrounded by a fence or barrier at least forty eight(48)
inches in height above the finished ground lever measured on the side of the barrier away from
the pool. Gates and doors in such barriers shall be self- closing the pool. Gates and doors in such
barriers shall be self-closing and self latching. Where the self-latching device is a minimum of
54 inches above the bottom of the gate the release mechanism shall be located on the pool side of
the gate. Self-closing and self-latching gates shall be maintained such that the gate will
positively close and latch when released from an open position of 6 in inches from the gatepost.
No existing pool enclosure shall be removed,replaced or changed in a manner that reduces its
ffectiveness as a safety barrier. (No self latching gate is open, improper fence/barrier as
required)

Sec. 24-154. Outdoor display, sale and storage of furniture, household items, merchandise and
business activities outside of enclosed buildings. (g) Within all residential zoning districts, and
also including any property containing a residential use, household items, furniture and those
items customarily intended for indoor use shall not be displayed, maintained or permanently
stored outdoors, or in any location on the lot where such items shall be stored or properly
disposed of to avoid mold, rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and

which also create unsightly appearance that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations
shall be corrected immediately upon written order from the city. (Bed frame, coolers, shelf, etc. -
stored outside in front)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by installing a proper self
latching gate and fencing around the in-ground pool within (48 Hours) of receipt of this
notice and replace the deteriorated leaking roof within sixty (60) days of this notice with a
permit and inspections and remove and cease all outside storage within ten (10) days of the
receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
