Dear Ms. Hill:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of the International Property Maintenance Code as adopted by the City of Atlantic
Beach, Code of Ordinances to wit:
VIOLATIONS
INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AL4INTENANCE CODE
Section 304.6 Exterior Walls. All exterior walls shall be free from, holes, breaks and loose or
rotting materials and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to
prevent deterioration. (Rotted Siding)
Section 304.15 Doors. All exterior doors, door assemblies and hardware shall be maintained in
good condition. Locks at all entrances to dwelling units and sleeping units shall tightly secure
the door. Locks on means to egress doors shall be in accordance with Section 702.3. (Front
Door is rusted)
This letter requests you comply by replacing all rotted siding and replace the rusted front
door within thirty (30) days of receipt of this notice.
A re-inspection will be done on or after September 30, 2011. If the violation is corrected and
then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be
presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected
prior to the board meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred
fifty ($250.00) dollars per day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon completing the

corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement
and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
