All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of twelve (12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. Back yard overgrown. IPMC Sec. 304.6 Exterior walls. All exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent deterioration. Rotting wood. Sec. 12-1.Nuisances (a) It shall be unlawful for any person or business, to do, perform, have, allow, suffer or permit any act, occurrence or condition within the city which constitutes a dangerous, unsafe, dilapidated or unsanitary condition,which may be injurious to the health and well being of the community. Accumulation of yard clippings and trash in back yard is harboring an environment for insects and vermin,thus causing a detriment to the health and well being of the neighborhood. Weeds Exterior Walls Nuisance - Conditions This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
