All accessory structures, including detached garages, fences and walls, shall be maintained structurally sound and in good repair. (Shed is open and unsecured) IPMC Sec. 304.15 Doors. All exterior doors, door assemblies, operator systems if provided, and hardware shall be maintained in good condition. Locks at all entrances to dwelling units and sleeping units shall tightly secure the door. Locks on means of egress doors shall be in accordance with Section 702.3. (Exterior door missing from entry to kitchen area) IPMC Sec. 304.18.1 Doors. Doors providing access to a dwelling unit, rooming unit or housekeeping unit that is rented, leased or let shall be equipped with a deadbolt lock designed to be readily open able from the side from which egress is to be made without the need for keys, special knowledge or effort and shall have a minimum lock throw of I inch (25 mm). Such deadbolt locks shall be installed according to the manufacturers specifications and maintained in good working order. For the purpose of this section, a sliding bolt shall not be considered an acceptable deadbolt lock. (Missing doors) IPMC Sec. 308.1 Accumulation of rubbish or garbage. All exterior property and premises, and the interior of every structure, shall be free from any accumulation of rubbish or garbage. (Garbage and trash all over exterior in yard and carport) Sec. 24-154. Outdoor display, sale and storage of furniture, household items, merchandise and business activities outside of enclosed buildings. (g) Within all residential zoning districts, and also including any property containing a residential use, household items, furniture and those items customarily intended for indoor use shall not be displayed, maintained or permanently stored outdoors, or in any location on the lot where such items shall be stored or properly disposed of to avoid mold, rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and which also create unsightly appearance that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations shall be corrected immediately upon written order from the city. (Garbage, discarded furniture, old doors,junk, trash, debris etc.) This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by securing all opening including shed and maintain secured within twenty four(24) hours of the receipt of this notice and property cleaned and maintained including the removal of all debris, applicances, discarded furniture,junk trash, busted doors etc. in yard, carport and on front porch within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement.
