Leaves and grass clippings shall be placed for collection at the curb in either a container meeting the standard for garbage collection or a disposable or waterproof paper bag securely fastened at the opening. Tree trunks, stumps, limbs trimmings or waste-building materials shall be collected; these items shall not exceed five (5) feet in length, six (6) inches in diameter nor shall any single item exceed a weight of forty (40) pounds. Each residence is allowed a cumulative amount of five (5) cubic yards weekly. (all debris and yard waste must be containerized). Section 24-173. Neighborhood preservation and property maintenance standards. (b) Appropriate maintenance and upkeep. All areas of a lot and structures that are visible from a street or a neighboring property shall be maintained in an acceptable manner, which shall be defined by the following characteristics: 1. Lots are maintained free of litter, trash, debris, discarded belongings, automotive parts and old tires, construction materials, and broken and abandoned items. II I� G 2 1 Page 2 36 Dudley Street December 7, 2011 This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing the construction debris and yard waste call for an inspection to verify compliance within ten (10) days of this notice. A re-inspection will be done on or after December 20, 2011. If the violation is corrected and then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the board meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) dollars per day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance. It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly, your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
