Russell, Trust 437 Ocean Boulevard Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233-5337 RE: Notice of Violation—International Property Maintenance Code, City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances Overgrown yard—845 Bonita Road, Lot 11, Block 3, Royal Palms Unit I RE#171151-0000 Case#70111 Dear Ms. Russell: Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, International Property Maintenance Code adopted to wit: VIOLATIONS INTERNA TIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE Section 304.2 Protective Treatment. All exterior surfaces, including but not limited to doors, door and window frames, cornices, porches,trim balconies, decks and fences shall be maintained in good condition. Exterior wood surfaces other than decay resistant woods shall be protected from the elements and decay by painting or other protective covering and treatment. Peeling, flaking and chipped paint shall be eliminated and surfaces repainted. All siding and masonry joints as well as those between the building envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors, and skylights shall be maintained weather resistant and water tight. All metal surfaces subject to rust or corrosion shall be coated to inhibit such rust and corrosion and all surfaces with rust or corrosion shall be stabilized and coated to inhibit future rust and corrosion. Oxidation stains shall be removed from exterior surfaces. Surfaces designed for stabilization by oxidation are exempt from this requirement. This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by scraping and painting thk exterior of the structure and call for an inspection to verify compliance within thi days of this notice. ;K k\ C'/ Page 2 845 Bonita Road October 3, 2011 A re-inspection will be done on or before November 7, 2011. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action(s) required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
