Dear Mrs. Reber:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of International Property Maintenance Code as adopted by the City of Atlantic
Beach Code of Ordinances to wit:
VIOLATIONS
Section 303.1 Swimming Pools. Swimming Pools shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary
condition, and in good repair.
This letter requests that the noted violation be corrected by cleaning and maintaining in a
clean and sanitary condition the swimming pool and call to schedule an inspection to verify
compliance with this requirement within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
A re-inspection will be done on or after November 17,2011. To avoid having this case be
referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violation(s) on this notice must be in
compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board
may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action(s) required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach
Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly, your cooperation in this matter is great

As an FYI, Covering a pool to HUD specifications entails:
Draining pool to 3-4 ft deep and covering to HUD specs. Vendor will add chemicals to remaining water to prevent
mosquito infestation. HUD cover consist of a 2x4 frame covered with wire mesh to prevent anyone from falling into the
pool.
Please advise if this is satisfactory as this is the only kind of pool covering bid I have ever seen submitted to FNMA. If
okay, I will have the bid resubmitted to FNAM asap.
