Lesya,
A check is the easiest way. If you would like to pay with a card, let me know so that I can have an invoice prepared ahead
of time. We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you do chose check, make it payable to the City of Atlantic Beach.
The full outstanding mitigation is 7.5 inches. The mitigation rate at the time of application was $113.00 per inch. The
grand total is $847.50.
Thanks,

Thanks Derek. We will pay the fee to the city. Will you let me know the best way to submit payment?
Thanks,
Lesya

All,
We inspected the landscaping today and found everything to be in line with your permitted removal and most recent
landscape plan. While this is good news, you will see in the attached calculations that there is a small amount of
outstanding mitigation. The one oak planting was not enough to make up for all of the oaks removed. You are welcome
do an additional oak planting if you would like, or you can pay into the Tree Fund at the rates shown.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Good afternoon,
We will keep the oak on the front left from our original plan for the double credit, thanks. Can you tell us how
you came up with the calculation of being 15 inches short though? We were under the impression we would be
at 128" with what we submitted. Here was our breakdown:
crape myrtles: 56"
Queen palms: 42"
Cabbage palms: 18"
Live oak: 6 "(L) * 2 = 12"
Thank you,

Lesya,
Please review the attached calculations for your tree removal at 255 Pine Street.
With this new plan, you are 15 inches short on the required mitigation. You can add more plantings to the plan or pay
into the City's Tree Fund. The amount would be $1,695.00 at $113.00 per inch. Note that I actually kept the oak planting
in the front yard as you do get double credit for it. That reduces the required mitigation by 12 inches or $1,356.00
Let me know how you would like to proceed.
Thanks,

Hi Derek,
Please take the Oak out from our plan I sent you (left front yard). We originally were thinking we would get
double credit for that as it is a legacy tree but realize we wont since it is not replacing another tree.
Thanks,
Lesya

Hi Derek,
Thanks for speaking with me yesterday. Attached is out plans for landscaping at 255 Pine Street. We have been
unsuccessful at finding a spot for the Oak we need to replace on city property (the right of way). On the left of
our driveway we have the electrical pole and the right hand side of the house we have that larger shade tree. Our
original idea was that we would replace the Oak on the left hand side in the right away but our landscaper is
telling us that wont work due to the electrical pole. Please let me know if you have another suggestion or if
there is some way around this.
Thank you,
