Correction Comments:
Application is disapproved for the following issues:
1. Design criteria: the west side of Atlantic Beach faces over 5,000 feet of open water and is
considered Wind Exposure D. This site is within 600 feet of the water and appears to qualify as
Exposure D. The house was designed as Exposure C. Please redesign to D or clarify Exposure
Category, including truss engineering.
2. This site is located in Flood Zone AE -6. With the additional 2.5 ft. Freeboard, added by the City,
the minimum FFE for this project is 8.5 ft.
3. This sites in a wetlands area and may have other requirements from other departments and agencies.
4. Energy sheet issues: (see marked up energy sheets)
- Provide checklist
- Windows do not match Product Approval
- Manual S contains altered data. Please submit new Manual S and manufacturer's expanded data
sheets with all options indicated.
-Manual J contains altered data, including altered Manual S. Please submit new Manual J with
correct information.
- Check Manual D against new Manuals S and J.
