AGENDA
Call to Order
Jonathan- Since this is the first meeting, have
each member introduce themselves or you introduce them.
Approval of the minutes of the BMRC meeting of March 1, 2012.
Ask for a motion to approve the minutes. Ask for a second.
Then, discussion and vote.
Jonathan- Explain (to the BMRC members) that we are interviewing for the Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee, and explain the interviewing process
(see below).
Jonathan- Explain that we have six vacancies to address (five (5) members are up for reappointment so at least one (1) vacancy should be filled with a new applicant)
Jonathan-
Try to keep the interviews on track (15 minutes each) so that we don’t start the interviews late.
2. Interview the new candidates (listed below)
Process:
Jonathan- Begin the
interview by introducing yourself and the rest of the members to the applicant.
Jonathan- Explain the purpose of the BMRC.
Lynne- Explain what the CARAC does.
Committee-
Interview each candidate separately and allow them to ask questions.

3. Review current members on the Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee whose terms expire on 7/8/2012 and interested in reappointment (6 upcoming vacancies)
Jonathan- Ask Lynne to report on each of the members seeking reappointment including their background, contribution to the Committee, and attendance (Note: Attendance record is provided
in packet).

4. Discuss the new candidate (listed below) and the current members that
are interested in reappointment (listed above) and make a recommendation.

Advisory Committee for an additional term beginning July 9, 2012.
Get a motion, and a second. Then discuss, and vote. (DITTO for each reappointment)
Ask for separate motion(s) to

and vote. (Until all vacancies are addressed).
