This letter is to certify that I have personally reviewed the new structural framing work for the above
referenced address. Damage from a fallen tree required reconstruction to repair the existing
exterior shell at the rear of the house. During construction, it was discovered that the existing
framing was damaged beyond repair, or in a general state of non-compliance.
As a result,the majority of the damaged portion has been replaced with new framing to include new
metal framing connectors for continuous load path.
At the time of my visit,all new metal connectors and framing were exposed for visual inspection.
Based on my observations, I was able to determine that all new construction work meets or existing
the 5th Edition Florida Building and Residential codes in accordance with 5th Edition Building Code
for Existing Structures.
