Correction Comments:
Application is disapproved for the following issues:
1. It has come to our attention that this entire building has been demolished, except the slab and one
masonry corner. Plans submitted are for remodel and addition to existing structure. Please submit plans
showing all details for actual proposed construction.
2. Comment 1, from first review was not addressed. See below.
1. This project falls under the provisions of the Florida Existing Building Code (FBC -EB) and appears to
qualify as a Level 3 Alteration and Addition. Per FBC -EB, Section 301.1, it is the responsibility of the
applicant to determine which method of alteration is required, state the method on the plans, and address the
requirements of that method. Please review the provisions of the FBC -EB, document how the method was
determined, and complete the building plans as directed.
Both Alteration Level 3 and Addition require a structural evaluation and analysis. Please review the
requirements and provide report.
Evaluation and analysis, per FBC -EB, Sections 907.4.1 and 907.4.2 must be submitted. This applies to all
existing construction. An incomplete evaluation /analysis will not be accepted.
