MANAGIIt TO SIGN SAID LEASE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFEG'7'IVE

WHF,ItF.A~S, the City of Atlantic Beach has debamined that owners of ~ oandonwuurn
units located at Island Club Condominiums, which is ova 10` Street locxoed east of Beach Avenue,
ar+e totally dependegt upon, public parking spaors on l0` Street for their residential parking needs,

VYH>H3tT~AS, the City of Atlantic Beach has reached an agreeraaent with The Island Club
Condominiums to lease certain of the public parking spaces can .10` Street immediately adjacent to
the condominiums for uss by the owners of the condominiums for their r>sidential parking needs,
and
VVI~tF.AS, no bonds are being issued and rto public funds are being expended in
oonnoction with the least of salad parking spaces to the condominium owners, and
VV[~tEA-S, the parlciu5 spaces bciuog leased are on property owned by the City and, by
virtue of flee City identifying m~oone than test (10) new public parlrirtg spaces elsewhere ua- the City
for beach access, sand property is not ctuxetttly Headed for any municipal purposes.
NOW 'TI~OkRE, BE R'I' RESOLVED:
SECTION i. The City ot; Atlantic Beach does hereby agree to Iease cerfaiut public parking
spaces on 10` Street east of Be~h Avenue m The Island Club Condominiuzn;s, in accordance with
the terms and conditions as set forth in the Lease of puking Space Agreement, a copy of which is
attached heR+cW, T~ Cary of Atlantic l3r~ach hereby approves said Lease of Pazldng Space
Agreement. Additional conditions that shall apply to the lease of these public parking spaces are as
follows:
a) The teA (10) lease spaces on 10` Std shall be contiguous and located at the west
end of the block, furdtest away from the ocean.
b) All vehicles using the leased spaces shall be registered with the City.
c) All signs and signage shall be uniform and shall be provided by the City.
5ECTTON 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to swgtt on behalf of City of Atlantic
Beach the Lease of Pazldng Space Agreemonts fox ~'he I~slattd Club Condominiums.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immedsately upon it final passage acid
adoption by ttxe City Commission.
