Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:
VIOLATIONS
Sec. 24-157(e) Maintenance of fences. Fences that have been allowed to deteriorate to an
excessive degree have a negative impact on property values and the quality of neighborhoods.
Fences that are in a state of neglect, damage or disrepair, shall be repaired, replaced or removed.
Unacceptable fences are identified as those containing any of the following characteristics that
can be easily observed from the street or by a neighboring property. i. Components of the Fence
are broken, bent, visibly rusted or corroded. ii. Portions of the fence are no longer connected to
the support posts and rails. iii. Any components
overtaking the fence) are rotten, broken or missing. iv. (Weeds are
IPMC 302.4 Weeds. All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or
Plant growth in excess of twelve (12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall
be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided;
however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. (yard is very overgrown
the east side of the property)
See. 24-173. Neighborhood preservation and property maintenance standards..(b) Appropriate ,
maintenance and upkeep. All areas of a lot and structures that are visible from the street or a v
neighboring property shall be maintained in an acceptable manner, which shall be defined by th\
following characteristics: 1. Lots are maintained free from litter, trash, debris, discarded \tel
belongings,automotive parts,old tires, construction materials, and broken and abandoned items.

Original Notes: For 6 weeks now yard waste from a cP bottle brush pine tree has on the curb to be
NOT been removed from neighbors roe It has been

picked up every Thursday when the Garbage and Yazd waste is scheduled to
be picked up. But to no avail. It still remains. They seem to be oblivious to
the reasons why. Obvious it is not up to code. Please could someone from
Atlantic Beach inform them. In addition to that on the east side of the side
of their property for over a year now, there is a knee high pile of old wood
covered in weeds, 6 by 8 square feet that is a snake and rat infested tra
you look closely enough you can see this from the road. Is tu
that could be addressed.
