to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:
VIOLATION
Sec. 12-1 Nuisances (b) It is hereby declared to be a nuisance,the enumerations of which are
merely indications of the nature and type of acts, occurrences and conditions, and shall not be
deemed to be exclusive. (7) For any person, either as the owner or occupant of a building,
structure, or property to utilize the premises for the open storage of any abandoned or inoperable
motor vehicle, refrigerators or other appliance, household furniture, glass, building material,
building rubbish or similar items. (construction debris, lumber, pallets being stored in rear of
the shopping center) ALL TRASH,DEBRIS,MUST BE PLACED IN YOUR DUMPSTER
FOR PICK UP)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by ceasing the placement of
construction debris or any discarded items in the rear of your shopping center within five
(5)days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board,all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Hello Mr.Van Liere,
I'm wanting to get the building at northeast Sylvan and Sturdivant cleaned up in the back. It's really becoming an
eyesore with trash out back,graffiti, broken stairs, run down ac units,etc.The entire building could use a fresh coat of
paint.
Please take a look at the attached pictures. Can the city play a role in contacting the owner of the building and forcing
them to clean up? I also understand that the back walkways might be on city property?They are also in need of repair.
Finally,the signs on windows of nail salon, facing west, are a bright pink and really an eyesore. Does our sign ordinance
help in forcing them to either take these down or put up a more attractive color?
