and conduit fill must be verified at rough electrical inspection.

1612.5 Flood hazard documentation.
The following documentation shall be prepared and sealed by a registered
design professional and submitted to the building official'.
1. For construction in flood hazard areas other than coastal high hazard areas:
1.1. The elevation of the lowest floor, including basement, as required by the
foundation inspection and the final inspection in Section 110.3.
1.2. For fully enclosed areas below the design flood elevation where provisions to
allow for the automatic entry and exit of floodwaters do not meet the minimum
requirements in Section 2.6.2.1 of ASCE 24, construction documents shall
include a statement that the design will provide for equalization of hydrostatic
flood forces in accordance with Section 2.6.2.2 of ASCE 24.
1.3. For dry floodproofed nonresidential buildings, construction documents shall
include a statement that the dry floodproofing is designed in accordance with
ASCE 24.

We ran an analysis to determine how much volume we are taking out of the creek by adding fill. We are adding
approximately 876 cubic feet of fill,which will decrease the volume of the creek by approximately 0.88%. 1 analyzed the
creek between Plaza and Seminole only...the creek is part of a much larger system so that percent decrease is negligible
when you consider the entire creek. I then looked at a portion of the floodplain at elevation 7 to determine the increase
in the creek height for the 100 year flood.The height increase is approximately 0.06 inches.This height increase is also
negligible if I were to analyze the entire floodplain.
In summary,the impact on the storage capacity of the creek is very minimal when we add fill to the site.

Application is disapproved for the following issues:
1.Addition extends into the AE-7 Flood Zone. Hold Building Permit for approved CLOMR-F.
2. Please provide signed/sealed engineering for proposed retaining wall connected with CLOMR-F.
3. Plans state this building is Risk Category IB; Table 1604.5 lists police stations as Category IV.
Please clarify risk category and verify building design meets all requirements for Category IV.
4. Please provide truss engineering,signed off by EOR as meeting his design.
5. This project falls under the Florida Building Code-Existing Building(FBC-EB). Please provide the
alteration method(s),per FBC-EB, Section 101.5, and provide information and details required by the
specified section(s). If using Alteration Level 3, please review and provide engineering report.
6. Baker Klein general notes state NGVD datum;Page C0010 states NAVD. Please clarify the datum
for the existing FFE.
7. Elevation benchmark on Baker Klein engineering gives north flange bolt of existing fire hydrant.
Fire hydrant has two identical flanges. Please clarify upper or lower flange.
8. Energy Form C402-2014 is not approved for additions, per FBC-EC, C101.5.1.1. Please provide
complete energy package, including expanded manufacturer's data for equipment. Review R-value
for spray foam insulation on bottom of roof deck.
9. Spray foam insulation requires a thermal barrier. "JM Spider Insulation"only qualifies as an
ignition barrier,not a thermal barrier. Please provide all spray foam information, including the ESR
for foam and other products.
10. Florida Product Approval Numbers must have decimal places. Multiple products are listed under
whole numbers; specific products are listed under decimal places. R-numbers are still whole numbers.
This is a high wind area(140 mph,Wind Exposure C,Risk Category IV). Some products do not
qualify for this location. List all products required by FAC 9B-72,verify that they comply with the
wind pressures found on Page S 0.1,and provide specific Number with decimal places.
(Examples: cedar siding does not meet wind loads,some storefronts do not qualify. Check roofing)
Opening protection is required,per FBC-B, Chapter 16.
11. Please specify service conductors and conduit sizes on electrical riser diagram.
General Notes: Your re-submittal should include two complete sets of plans. Please
insert the revised pages into the plan sets, and pages removed from the stamped
"Job copy" set, should be marked as "old set" and should be included in the re-
submittal.
If old "Job copy" drawings, are not resubmitted there will be additional plan
review fee charged due to the amount of time necessary to review entire drawing
again.
ALL ITEMS changed or revised on plans and documents shall be identified by
circling, clouding or identified by some other legible method. ADDITIONAL ITEMS
MAY BE REQUIRED - DEPENDING ON NEW INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS
