Dear Sirs,
This letter is to inform the City of Atlantic Beach Building Department and J.E.
Larsen Construction Inc. that the First Floor area above the entry area, between
the Garage wall and the North wall, shall be reframed with 14" LVL beams
spanning from the Garage wall to the North wall sistered to each cantilevered
floor trusses from the garage and attached with 4" Simpson SDWC screws at 8"
o.c. at the bottom chord of the existing truss. Attach the LVL's to the existing roof
truss thru 2x4 blocking with 6' Simpson SDWC screws at 8" o.c. The LVL beams
may be tapered at the North wall to bear on the north wall.
