RE: Notice of Violation of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances,Chapter 24,Section 24-163—Storage and parking of
commercial vehicles end recreational vehicles and equipment and repair of vehicles in residential zoning districts
and Chapter 24,Section 21-22(a)—Commercial recreational,etc.,vehicles';weight requirements at property
known as: 314 Sargo Road,Atlantic Beach,31-16 38-2S-29E Royal Palms Unit 2A,RE# 171682-0000
Dear Mr.McHugh;
Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement bas found the property at the above referenced address to be in
violation of Chapter 24,Section 24-163 per Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances which states"The storage and puking
of commercial vehicles greater than twelve thousand five hundred(12,500)pounds gross vehicle weight shall be
prohibited in all residential zoning districts".And Chapter 21,Section 21-22(a)which states"No person shall stop,
stand,or park a commercial vehicle in excess of ten thousand(10,000)pounds gross vehicle weight,or any combination
thereof,many component part thereof,including the tractor unit or trailer unit of any tractor-trailer-type truck,upon
any private property in a residential zone except for the purpose of loading or unloading. No more than four(4)hours
shall be allowed for loading and unloading,unless otherwise authorized by the city manager or his designee."
This letter requests the noted violation be corrected by removing the semi tractor trailer from the residential zone
upon receipt of this letter. If the violation is corrected and then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time
specified in this notice this case may be presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation
has been corrected prior to the board meeting.The Code Enforcement Board may impose fmcs up to$250 a day for
each day the violation is not corrected.
A re-inspection will be done ontor atter Jane 16,2010. To avoid having this Code Enforcement we set for hearing,
all listed violation(s)on this notice most be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement.Upon completing the corrective action(s)required,it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compfiance.
It is am goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health,safety and
welfare of the City,and accordingly,you cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.Please contact Atlantic
