The garbageftreshlcarpeting/boxes,etc.that was put out by the closing of Meserve Flooring have been there for over a month now. Not only is it on Sturdivant, but also at the side of the building. I thought this was against the taw. When a business closes the owner must dispose of his own trash and/or the landlord who is the hairdresser next door, should not allow this to happen. I own the property across the street at 683-685 Sturdivant and I feel my tenants should not have to look at this mess and it can and probably is attracting vermin because passers by also throw their trash onto the pile to get rid of it AND I live in the townhouse across the street on Seminole and also have to look at it.This is a real problem and I know you will work on this to have it taken care of. 2. This is also a biggie.....the home at 130 Seminole (the owners address is Pine St here in Atlantic Beach)is being overrun and maybe living there by homeless men and women. They are an eyesore bringing in appliances, soda cans, you name it all day and night long. I do not know if they are sleeping in the yard, but all the garbage, appliances, furniture, etc. is in plain sight and ugly. Now I do not know if this has been designated a homeless shelter by the City of Atlantic Beach, and if it is, I never heard about it at all. How could it have passed the council without a public hearing anyway. I will appreciate it if you would look into these matters as soon as possible. I feel the owners of these properties are responsible for letting this happen and should be contacted as soon as possible if they have not been already. Thank you for your time and effort. Sincerely, Mary 128-7 Seminole Road Atlantic Beach
