Dear Mr.Klotz:
Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to be in
violation of Chapter 24,City of Atlantic Beach,Code of Ordinances, Section 24-173 Neighborhood
preservation and property maintenance standards and Chapter 6, International Property Maintenance Code
adopted to wit:
VIOLATIONS
Section 24-154.Outdoor display,sale and storage of furniture,household items,merchandise and
business activities outside of enclosed buildings.
(g) Within residential zoning districts,and also including any property containing a residential use,
household items,furniture and those items customarily intended for indoor use shall not be displayed,
maintained or permanently stored outdoors,or in any location on the lot where such items are visible from
adjacent properties. Discarded or unused household items shall be stored or properly disposed of to avoid
mold,rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and which also create unsightly
appearances that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations shall be corrected immediately upon
written order from the city. (cease storage and remove all household items stored in carport and
clean up and remove all garbage)
Section 307.1 Accumulation of Rubbish and Garbage. All exterior property and premises,and the
interior of every structure, shall be free from any accumulation of rubbish or garbage.(remove all
garbage from premises and household items stored in carport)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of all garbage and removal of
all household items stored in the carport within ten(10)days from receipt of this letter.

A re-inspection will be done on or before February 22,1011. To avoid having this case be referred to
the Code Enforcement Board,all listed violations on this notice must be in
compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may
impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for continuing violations.
