The purpose of this is Correspondence is to serve as an Official Notification of Violation. The aforementioned
property has been identified as being unfit for human occupancy and is in violation of the following International
Property Maintenance Codes as adopted by the City of Atlantic Beach, Chapter 6, Section 6-16:
1. Section 108.1.3 Structure unfit for human occupancy—Whenever the code officer finds that such
structure lacks ventilation, illumination, sanitary or heating facilities or other essential equipment
required by this code.
2. Section 505.1 No running water—All kitchen sinks, lavatories, laundry facilities, bathtubs and showers
shall be supplied with hot tempered and cold running water.
3. Section 604.1 No Electricity—Every Occupied building shall be provided with an electrical system.
4. Section 501.2-A person shall not occupy as owner-occupant or permit another person to occupy any
structure or premise that violates Section 505.1
5. Section 601.2-A person shall not occupy as owner-occupant or permit another person to occupy any
structure or premise that violates Section 504.1
As Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Atlantic Beach, I am informing you that the aforementioned property
must be vacated immediately, and remain vacated until such time as the water and electricity are restored.
Furthermore, I would remind you of your responsibilities as the authorized agent that failure to comply can result
in fines of up to$250.00 per day, per violation against the estate.
