Dear Sirs,
Consider this an Official Notification of Violation. That on numerous occasions your business at 363
Atlantic Blvd in Atlantic Beach has been found to be in violation of various City Codes pertaining to the
placement of advertising signs and displays, and despite several verbal warnings your business has continued
to violate City Code. You have been identified as being in violation of the following City Code:
1, Chapter 17,Sec 17-42 Non-permitted Signs And Advertising Structures: The placement and use
of non-permitted signs in the advertising of your business and or products by the use of illegal signs or
devices such as:
a. Animated signs
b. Automatic changeable message device signs
c. Flashing Signs
d. Signs containing beacon or tracker lights
e. Signs containing florescent colors or reflective materials.
f. Snipe signs
g. Portable and mobile signs
h. Temporary signs
i. Pennants, ribbons, streamers,wind operated devices and like items that draw attention.
I. Private signs on public property
In an effort to eliminate any undue hardship, I am granting you 5 days from receipt of this notification to ensure
that all your employees are fully aware that any of the aforementioned forms of advertising are forbidden.
Furthermore, I would like to remind you of your responsibilities as a business operating in the City of Atlantic
Beach, and that future violations will result in Code Enforcement Action,which can result in fines of up to
$500.00 per violation, per day from the Code Enforcement Board.
