Dear Ms. Bateh,
City records identify you as the owner of the following business in the City of Atlantic Beach:

The purpose of this correspondence is to serve as an Official Notification of Violation. As of the
receipt of this letter, a formal process of code enforcement action has been initialed. The rase
identifies you as the owner of the aforementioned business, which is in violation of the following
ordinance under Atlantic Beach City Code:
Chapter 19, Sec 19-1: Obstructing City Right of Way,to wit; Sidewalk Fronting Store Front
That over the course of a year your establishment has received numerous verbal and written Courtesy
Notices from the Code Enforcement Officer concerning the placement of various items in the City
Right of Way, to wit the brick sidewalk fronting your store. This is not only a violation of City Code but
is a safety concern as well. Recently the Code Enforcement Office has been receiving complaints
pertaining to your folding menu board being placed in the City Right of Way during meal times and on
weekends. If these complaints are true, then this practice must cease.
The brick sidewalk fronting your store is for pedestrian use only and any future violations involving the
placement of store merchandise or equipment there will result in Code Enforcement action. This
action can result in both the removal of said items by the City and can incur fines of up to$500.00 per
day per incident from the Code Enforcement Board.
