Consider this an Official Notification of Violation. That on April 9,2009 while responding to a
complaint,the City's Code Enforcement Officer identified that 2 portable steel storage containers located
at the aforementioned address,a violation of the following City Code:
L City Code: Chapter 24,Section 24-65(b)Temporary Storage Structure not properly
permitted.
As the aforementioned containers is not being used in conjunction with an active building permit,which
would require its immediate removal,I am granting you 15 days from receipt of this notification to have
the containers removed.
Permitted storage trailers can only remain on a commercial property for up to 30 days,any exception to
the 30 days would have to be granted by the City Commission using a waiver request.Although you may
request a waiver there are no guarantee that it will be granted,in which case the containers will have to be
removed. The next available meeting of the City Commission is April 27,2009.
Furthermore you are reminded that failure to comply can result in the Code Enforcement Board issuing
fines of up to$500.00 per day,per violation against the property owner.
