Dear Mr. Johnson:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of Chapter 3, Section 304.7—Roofs and Drainage, "The roof and flashing shall be
sound,tight and not have defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent
dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters
and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall
not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance".
This letter requests you comply by making repairs to rotted soffit and fascia within thirty
(30)days of receipt of this notice and call to schedule and inspection when repairs are
completed.
A re-inspection will be done on or after September 30,2011. If the violation is corrected and
then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be
presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected
prior to the board meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred
fifty($250.00) dollars per day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon completing the
corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement
and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly,your cooperation in this matter is greatly
