Dear Ms. Spivey:
Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of Chapter 12,City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Section 12-14 c
Nuisances to wit:
VIOLATIONS
Section 24-173. Neighborhood preservation and property maintenance standards.
(b) Appropriate maintenance and upkeep. All areas of a lot and structures that are visible from
a street or a neighboring property shall be maintained in an acceptable manner,which shall be
defined by the following characteristics:
1. Lots are maintained free of litter, trash,debris,discarded belongings, automotive parts,
old tires,construction materials, and broken and abandoned items.
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of all discarded
pallets stored in the front yard within ten (10) days from receipt of this letter.
A re-inspection will be done on or before April 29,2011. To avoid having this case be referred
to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or
before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. If the violation is corrected
and then reoccurs you may be required to appear before the Board for disposition of a continuing
violation. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per d.6 for continuing
violations.
