All exterior walls shall be free from,holes, breaks and loose or rotting materials and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent deterioration. (Rotted soffit and fascia) Section 304.7—Roofs and Drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance. (Roof rotten at carport,excessive wood rot) This letter requests you comply by replacing all rotted soffit and fascia and r6plac flog and all rotted wood within ten (10) days of receipt of this notice. `` -- V�\\v Page 2 871 Plaza March 23,2012 A re-inspection will be done on or after February 23,2012. If the violation is corrected and then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the board meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)dollars per day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
