International Property Maintenance Code/City Code of Ordinances Sec. 24-163.(b)Recreational vehicles stored or parked on any residential lot shall be subject to the following provisions: (2)Recreational vehicles,boats or boat trailers or other type of trailer shall not be parked or stored closer than fifteen(15)feet from the front lot line and shall be parked in a manner that is generally perpendicular to the front property line such that length is not aligned in a manner that extends across the front of the lot it being the intent that recreational vehicles,boats and trailers that are puked forward of the residence and should not excessively dominate the front of the lot. IPMC Sec. 304.3 Premises identification. Buildings shall have approved address numbers placed in a position to be plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their background. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals or alphabet letters.Numbers shall be a minimum of 4 inches(102 mm)in height with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch(12.7 mm) The Code Enforcement Board may levy fines up to $250.00 per day for the first violation and $500.00 per day for a repeat violation. If the violation is corrected and then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified for correction by the Code Enforcement Officer, the case could be presented to the Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the Board hearing. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance at(904)247-5855. You have the right to obtain an attorney at your own expense and to present witnesses in your behalf.
