Second Amended Item 6B- Resolution No. 17-03 RESOLUTION NO. 17‐03 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING , AS TEMPORARY INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Article III, Sec. 21 of the Charter of the City of Atlantic Bea ch requires the City Commission to Appoint a City Manager, and WHEREAS, Article II, Sec. 9 (11) of the Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires the City Commission to Appoint, remove and fix the compensation of all officers and employees appointed by the City Commission, and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to appoint as Temporary Interim City Manager, until an Interim City Manager is selected, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida as follows: SECTION 1. shall serve as Temporary Interim City Manager for the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, as set forth herein: a. The compensation and salary of shall be $ ; b. shall faithfully carry out the duties of the City Manager as stipulated by the City Charter, and as requested by the City Commission; c. may apply for the City Manager position. SECTION 2. The Human Resource Director is hereby directed to initiate and coordinate the recruitment process for a permanent City Manager. SECTION 3.
