To Whom it may concern,
This letter is to address the recent inspection notes that basically require the Architect of
Record to respond to the as-built conditions which differ from the approved detail provided by
the Architect. I have personally inspected this work and have determined that the as-built
condition is structurally sound and well with-in the design parameters that were used in
designing the grade beam detail. As long as there is an 8"minimum effective width of the
beam,the expected stresses developed in this grade beam will work as designed.
