Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach,Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION
Sec.24-157(e) Maintenance of fences. Fences that have been allowed to deteriorate to an excessive
degree have a negative impact on property values and the quality of neighborhoods. Fences that are in a
state of neglect,damage or disrepair,shall be repaired,replaced or removed.Unacceptable fences are
identified as those containing any of the following characteristics that can be easily observed from the
street or by a neighboring property. i. Components of the Fence are broken, bent,visibly rusted or
corroded.ii. Portions of the fence are no longer connected to the support posts and mils.iii. Any
components are rotten,broken or missing. iv. Weeds are overtaking the fence.(Wood fence in rear of
1395 and side and rear fence at unit 1399 has collapsed in areas and falling,unsafe condition)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing the unsafe,collapsing wood
fence in rear and side yard within ten(10)days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board,all listed violations on this notice
most be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board
may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for continuing violations.Upon completing
the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and
arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
