Dear Mr. Baldwin:
I have reviewed your submittal of October 26, 1964 for concrete endwalls
for the 8' x 6' box culvert on the referenced project and find them to
be unsatisfactory. As previously stipulated these endwalls shall be in
accordance with Florida Department of Transportation standards. The 45°
wingwall maybe substituted for your original straight endwall design.
However, the minimum length shall be 13'-3" not 5'-0". A typical wall
section is enclosed for your use.
Please redesign and resubmit for approval. Should you have any questions,
please call.
