Dear Ms. Stiles:
Thanks a million for your thanks. It is amazing that I've owned that piece of property for
forty years and I've gotten more traffic from the City of Atlantic Beach in the last couple than the
prior 38. In light of my splendid cooperation is there is any way you can keep people from
parking on my property. The City put a no parking sign on a portion of the lot and it seems to
work on that part but not the remaining. I'm happy to be a good neighbor but whoever is using it
to park is not reciprocating. Can you help?
By the way, I'd appreciate any written documents, email traffic,phone messages, etc.
relating to who filed the complaint leading to our 2011 contact.
Thanks for your splendid cooperation too and I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Mr. Sheppard:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of Chapter 3, Section 302.4 —Weeds, "All premise and exterior property shall be
maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of twelve (12") in height. All noxious
weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation,
other than trees or shrubs provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and
gardens".
This letter requests you comply by mowing and cleaning the premises within twenty (20)
days of receipt of this notice.
A re-inspection will be done on or after March 14. 2011. To avoid having this case be referred
to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violation(s) on this notice must be in compliance on or
before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. Upon completing the
corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement
and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the
health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly, your cooperation in this matter is greatly
