Dear Ms. Stiles,
Per our conversation regarding 581 Cruiser Lane, attached are the Wildlife Solutions Report and
the receipt for the metal soffit materials.
To recap, we were notified of"something in the attic" via 12 text messages at 9:30PM on
2/19/2011 (Friday night). On 2/21/2011 (Monday morning) my husband and C. Wilkinson from
Wildlife Solutions evaluated the report by visiting the property. It was found that there were
several access points that would allow entrance to the structure and rodent droppings in the
attic. Mr. Wilkinson verified that no wiring or structural damage had occurred. The following
represents his recommendations to rectify and our subsequent actions.
• Add traps to the attic using peanut butter and check for 5 days: We subsequently added
traps to the attic on 2/22/2011 and checked every two days through 3/4/2011. Only
one rodent was trapped throughout the entrapment process.
• Remove phenomenal scent attractants: This was done at the time of trapping;
2/22/2011
• Seal soffits and sewer vents: This was completed on 2/25/2011 using metal soffits.
• Trim and cut back all trees, shrubs, etc away from roofline: This was completed on
2/25/2011
• The attic was disinfected on 3/4/2011 with no further evidence.
As of 3/20/2011 the dryer vent trap has been replaced with a flapped vent and sealed so that
no access points are present.
