Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:

IPMC 302.4 Weeds. All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or
plant growth in excess of twelve (12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall
be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided;
however,this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens.(Property is overgrown)
SEC. 12-1 (b) It shall hereby declared a nuisance, the enumerations of which are merely
indications of the nature and type of acts, occurrences and conditions, and shall not be deemed to
be exclusive: (3) For any person to allow, suffer or permit any lot, premises or place of any kind
whatsoever to become neglected so as to become a detriment to public health by the depositing
filth or rubbish of any kind.(large fallen trees on property in rear yard)
Sec. 12-1. Nuisances (a) It shall be unlawful for any person or business, to do, perform, have,
allow, suffer or permit any act, occurrence or condition within the city which constitutes a
dangerous, unsafe, dilapidated or unsanitary condition, which may be injurious to the health and
well being of the community.
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by mowing and removing fallen
trees and maintain the property within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Subject: Property at 49 Donner Road
Hi Debbie,
I stopped in your office some weeks ago to ask some questions about our property on 60 Ardella Road. At the time I
asked you to check on the dumping of mattresses, sofas, appliances etc continually being done at the southeast corner
of Ardella and Mayport Road. So far it seems much better-only one sofa last month! So thanks for that.
Now I hope you can look at the property behind us on Donner. It's for sale and the back which borders us is really a mess
with fallen trees (from the hurricane), high weeds, rubble etc. I also think there may be a squatter inside.The house is a
wreck.
Could you check on this and see if there is anything you can do to better the situation ?
