Exterior wood surfaces, other than decay-resistant woods, shall be protected from the elements and decay by painting or other protective covering or treatment."Your property is also in violation of Chapter 3 Section 304.6—Exterior Walls which states"All exterior walls shall be free from holes,breaks,and loose or rotting materials;and maintained weatherproof and property surface coated where required to prevent deterioration." This letter requests the noted violations be corrected by repainting all the exterior walls of the house within 30 days from receipt of this letter.If the violation is corrected and then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the board meeting.The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to$250 a day for each day the violation is not corrected.
