He felt that the permit should be applied for as such by the GC and the roofer should perform as a sub for the purpose of installing the Dec-Tec waterproofing roof membrane. All demolition and framing to be performed by the GC and other subs under the GC's direction. Dan Arlington requested we have an in progress inspection to evaluate wind mitigation factors for uplift with the new work,which the GC agrees with. It is our intent to request a nail off inspection and a final membrane inspection and any other inspections deemed necessary by the COAB building department during the course of construction. It is also our intent to address any nonconforming wind mitigation factors such as hurricane clips etc. deemed necessary by the building during the in-progress inspection of the work.
