RE: Notice of Violation of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances,Chapter 24,Section 24-163(c)—Storage and
parking of commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles and equipment and repair of vehicles in
residential zoning districts and Chapter 12,Section 12-1(7)—Illegal outside storage at property known
as:945 Plaza Drive,Atlantic Beach,30-60-38-2S-29E,RE# 171262-0000
Dear Mr.Knight;
Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property at the above referenced address to be in
violation of Chapter 24,Section 24-163(c)—Storage and parking of commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles and
equipment and repair of vehicles in residential zoning districts per City of Atlantic Beach Code which states"A junked
or abandoned vehicle,or one that is inoperable,as defined within this Code,shall not be parked or stored in any zoning
district. Further,mechanical or other automotive repair work on any motor vehicle shall not be performed out-of-doors
within any residential zoning district,except for minor maintenance or emergency repair lasting less than eight(8)hours
and performed on a vehicle owned by the occupant of the residential property." Your property is also in violation of
Chapter 12-1(7)—Illegal outside storage which states"For any person to allow,suffer or permit any lot,premises,or
place of any kind whatsoever to become neglected so as to become a detriment to public health by the depositing of filth
or rubbish of any kind."
This letter requests the noted violation be corrected by repairing the unlicensed trailer and removing all the trash and
debris that has accumulated on your property within ten days from receipt of this letter. If the violation is corrected and
then recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be presented to the
Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the board meeting.The Code
Enforcement Board may impose fines up to$250 a day for each day the violation is not corrected.
A re-inspection will be done on/or before December 4,2009. To avoid having this Code Enforcement case set for
hearing,all listed violation(s)on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach
Code Enforcement.Upon completing the corrective action(s)required,it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach
Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health,safety and
welfare of the City,and accordingly,your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.Please contact Atlantic
