Sec. 604.1 Facilities required. Every occupied building shall be provided with an electrical system in compliance with the requirements of this section. 605.2 Receptacles. Every habitable space in a dwelling shall contain at least two separate and remote receptacle outlets. Every laundry area shall contain at least one grounded-type receptacle or a receptacle with a ground fault circuit interrupter. Every bathroom shall contain at least one receptacle. Any new bathroom receptacle outlet shall have ground fault circuit interrupter protection. All receptacle outlets shall have the appropriate faceplate cover for the location. . (Cover on outside light fixture missing) IPMC Sec. 304.6 Exterior walls. All exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent deterioration (loose siding) Sec. 24-157. Fences, Walls and Similar Structures (c) Maintenance of fences. Fences that have been allowed to deteriorate to an excessive degree have a negative impact on property values and the quality of neighborhoods. Fences that are in a state of neglect, damage or disrepair, shall be repaired, replaced or removed.(dilapidated chain link fencing) IPMC Sec. 304.13.1 Glazing. All glazing materials shall be maintained free from cracks and holes. IMPC Sec 304.13 Window, skylight and door frames. Every window, skylight, door and frame shall be kept in sound condition, good repair and weather tight. I 4 IPMC 304.7 Roofs and drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound,tight and not have defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance. (Deteriorated roof covering, roll of felt on roof) This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by installing a cover on the light fixture at the front door, repair all the loose siding, repair or remove the dilapidated chain link fencing, replace all broken windows and repair or replace the worn deteriorated roof within twenty (20) days of the receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
