Recorded Notice of Commencement: If value of proposed work (value = replacement cost) exceeds $2,500, a recorded N.O.C. (Notice of Commencement) must be submitted with application. The County Clerk has a satellite office located at 1543 Atlantic Blvd. in Neptune Beach. Boundary Survey: Survey may not be an altered, reduced, or faxed copy. ✓/ Survey must contain the surveyor's license number, signature and date. Survey does not have to be recent or the original, but must accurately represent what is currently on property. Cee Removal If trees arere to to be be re removed, a tree removal permit must be obtained. Otherwise, only an affidavit stating, "no protected trees are to be removed" is required. Plans and Specifications: • cover page: with address of project, occupancy class for the property (for one & two family: Group R-3), the applicable codes (see below), and an index of all drawings and attachments. The cover page is to include "lot coverage calculations" (impervious surface calculations). Site plan: to include size and location of proposed swimming pool, pool equipment and barrier, any overhead or underground utilities, septic tanks & drain fields, buried gas tanks etc. Site plan to indicate pools distance from property lines and other structures. Pool and equipment must be a minimum of five feet from rear and side lot lines, and cannot be located in the front yard or forward of the main house. Deck plan: indicating slab thickness, psi of concrete, size and locations of any footings, slope of deck drainage and trench drain locations. y Pool Barrier Details: Provide details showing compliance with the FBC- r/ Residential-sec. 403.2.17.1(Florida Building Code) through 17.3. If alarms are used provide alarm specifications showing compliance with UL 2017.
