Dear Mr. Martin:
Please be advised, this letter is to inform you that permit number 10-1414 issued for work at the
above referenced address has expired on May 29, 2011, in accordance with the Florida Building
Code Section 105.4.1 which states"Every permit shall become invalid unless the work authorized
by such permit is commenced within six months after its issuance, or if the work authorized by
such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six months after the time the work is
commenced." Work is considered abandoned when an approved inspection is not obtained
within a six-month period.
Failure to obtain an approved inspection within the next thirty days will result in additional fees
being required to renew your permit as required by Section 6-26(a)(9) of the City of Atlantic
Beach Code of Ordinances to wit:

Dear Ms. Rosenbaugh:
Please be advised, this letter is to inform you that permit number 10-1414 issued for work
on your property expired on May 29, 2011, in accordance with the Florida Building Code
Section 105.4.1 which states "Every permit shall become invalid unless the work
authorized by such permit is commenced within six months after its issuance, or if the
work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six months
after the time the work is commenced." Work is considered abandoned when an
approved inspection is not obtained within a six-month period. An inspection was
conducted and failed on June 9, 2011, the following items needed to be corrected,
installation of a float switch and condenser needed to be raised three (3") inches from
grade. Your contractor was notified, however, we have no record of the corrections
being made with access to verify work was completed.
Failure to obtain an approved inspection within the next thirty days will result in
additional fees being required to renew your permit as required by Section 6-26(a)(9) of
the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances.
A re-inspection will be done on or before December 21, 2011. To avoid having this case
be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in
compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The
Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing
violations.
It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and
protect the health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly, your cooperation in
this matter is greatly appreciated. Please contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement at
