Dear Mr. and Mrs. Peters:
Please be advised,Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to be in
violation of the International Property Maintenance Code and City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances
to wit: Chapter 3, Section 3070 —Accumulation of rubbish or garbage. "All exterior property and
premises,and the interior of every structure shall be free from any accumulation or rubbish or garbage"
and Sec.24-154 Outdoor display, sale and storage of furniture, household items,merchandise and
business activities outside of enclosed buildings", and Section 302.8—Motor Vehicles"No inoperative
or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked or kept or stored on any premises, and no vehicle shall at any
time be in a state of disrepair,major disassembly or in the process or being stripped or dismantled.
This letter requests you comply by removal of all rubbish,garbage, household items stored outside
of the premises and removal of the inoperable, unlicensed White truck within ten(10)days of
receipt of this notice.
A re-inspection will be done on or after November 29,2010. If the violation is corrected and then recurs
or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be presented to the
Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been corrected prior to the board
meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)dollars per
day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your
responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify
compliance.
It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health,
safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly,your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
