Neighborhood preservation and property maintenance standards. (b) Appropriate maintenance and upkeep. All areas of a lot and structures that are visible from a street or a neighboring property shall be maintained in an acceptable manner, which shall be defined by the following characteristics: 1. Lots are maintained free of litter,trash, debris, discarded belongings, automotive parts, old tires, construction materials, and broken and abandoned items. International Property Maintenance Code Section 302.7. Accessory Structures. All accessory structures, including detached garages, fences and walls shall be maintained structurally sound and in good repair. This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of all lumber, garbage and debris in rear and side yards and dispose of all these items properly. In addition,fence must be repaired and all in compliance within ten (10) days from receipt of this notice. A re-inspection will be done on or before March 15,2011. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement . The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations.
