Dear Ms. Naumann:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to
be in violation of the International Property Maintenance Code, Chapter 3, as adopted by the
City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances to wit:
Section 304.7—Roofs and Drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have
defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in
the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be
maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a
manner that creates a public nuisance. (soffit rotted, holes and falling)
This letter requests you comply by repairing/replacing all rotted, dilapidated,collapsing
soffit within twenty (20)days of receipt of this notice and call to schedule an inspection
when repairs are completed.
A re-inspection will be done on or after April 26,2012. If the violation is corrected and then
recurs or if the violation is not corrected by the time specified in this notice this case may be
presented to the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board even if the violation has been cor`ecte
prior to the board meeting. The Code Enforcement Board may impose fines up to two hundred
fifty ($250.00) dollars per day for each day the violation is not corrected. Upon complet',g t -
corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforc ,,v -nt a`
and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
