Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION(S)
Section 154 (g) Within all residential zoning districts, and also including any property containing a
residential use, household items, furniture and those items customarily intended for indoor use shall not
be displayed, maintained or permanently stored outdoors, or in any location on the lot where such items
are visible from adjacent properties. Discarded or unused household items shall be stored or properly
disposed of to avoid mold, rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and which also
create unsightly appearances that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations shall be corrected
immediately upon written order from the city.
IPMC Sec. 301.0 Vacant Structures and Land. All vacant structures shall be maintained in a clean,
safe, secure and sanitary condition as provided herein so as not to cause a blighting problem or adversely
affect the public health or safety.
IPMC 302.4 Weeds. All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant
growth in excess of twelve(12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as
all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however, this term shall
not include cultivated flowers and gardens.
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by mowing the yard, removing all items
stored in the yard and carport, clean and secure the property within ten (10) days of the receipt of
this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice
must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The
Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Original Notes: yard not mowed in over 3 months house upkeep need to check on age of
residents (mother does not reside there lives with boy friend may be just
teenagers) also residents keep their trash and garbage on the street at all
times and trash is blowing on the street and around the neighbor hood.Please
have some one check on this been living in Atlantic Beach for 37 years and
now I see the neighbor hood going down hill this hurts I love this city .The
reason I have not given my name is I';m 73 years old and I fear retaliation,I
also expect some sort of drug use at this address lots of traffic coming or
