Neighborhood preservation and property maintenance standards. (b) Appropriate maintenance and upkeep. All areas of a lot and structures that are visible from a street or a neighboring property shall be maintained in an acceptable manner, which shall be defined by the following characteristics: 1. Lots are maintained free of litter, trash,debris,discarded belongings, automotive parts and old tires,construction materials, and broken and abandoned items. (trash all over back yard) INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE Section 302.4 Weeds. All premise and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of twelve(12") inches in height. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses,annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. (Property overgrown) ( by‘, Page 2 705 Sailfish Drive March 16,2012 This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of all litter, and trash including ladder, propane tanks,dollies,spray paint cans,milk crates and tree limbs and mow and clean property within ten(10)days from receipt of this notice and maintain property mowed and cease future outside storage. A re-inspection will be done on or before March 29,2012. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board,all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for continuing violations. It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health, safety and welfare of the City,and accordingly,your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
