RE: Code issues on Sturdivant Ave.
Dear Ms. Stiles,
The enclosed photos have been included to supplement the issues presented to
you in this letter. The issues currently existing at the Sturdivant Ave side of the
convenience store represent a significant impact to the quality of life for the immediate
neighbors and the community at large.
1. The gate to the dumpster appears to be broken and does not close properly
allowing easy access to the dumpster. Additionally, the management of the
convenience leaves the gate open for long periods of time.
2. Update- I have attached two photos of the gate taken yesterday, the gate is
broken and continues to remain open for days at a time. What action has
been taken to remedy this issue?
3. There has been a pile of discarded yard waste on the side of the
convenience store building for several months. What action has been taken
to remedy the issue?
Thank you for reviewing these issues. Please call me to discuss this matter further. I
can be reached at 904-612-9117.
Sincerely,
Eric Kritsky

RE: Code issues on Sturdivant Ave.
Dear Ms. Stiles,
The enclosed photos have been included to supplement the issues presented to
you in this letter. The issues currently existing at the Sturdivant Ave side of the
convenience store represent a significant impact to the quality of life for the immediate
neighbors and the community at large.
1. The gate to the dumpster appears to be broken and does not close properly
allowing easy access to the dumpster. Additionally, the management of the
convenience leaves the gate open for long periods of time.
2. With regard to the garbage cans that belong to the commercial occupants of
680 and 682 Sturdivant Ave, why are the cans allowed to remain open in the
parking lot? Should these cans also be secured behind a fenced enclosure?
3. There has been a pile of discarded carpet from one of the occupants of
either 680 or 682 lying in the driveway for last 6 days. How can this be legal?
It looks terrible and cannot be code compliant. Shouldn't this commercial
business have a dumpster if it is engaged in a flooring business?
Thank you for reviewing these issues. Please call me to discuss this matter
further. I can be reached at 904-612-9117.
Sincerely,
Eric Kritsky
