RESOLUTION NO. 17-12
A R OLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA DIRECTING THE
ITY MANAGER TO ORDER AN APPRAISAL FOR THE SELV' PRESERVE
P' S PERTY; AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO A AXIMUM OF
15, i I 0 FOR AN APPRAISAL AND OTHER TASKS RELATED TO HE APPRAISAL
OF TH. SELVA PRESERVE PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING F R AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, th-City of Atlantic Beach recognizes the vi . 1 importance of acquiring
conservation land; and
WHEREAS, the SeIv. Preserve Property, lying be•' een 11th Street, Selva Linkside,
and Atlantic Beach Country Cl b •, consists of 7.4 acres in, uding 4.6 acres of wetlands; and
WHEREAS, Selva Preser -' s unique qualitie• could make the property an important
environmental and recreational re-• urce for the C. of Atlantic Beach.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT R OLVE 1 : Y THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Appraisal. The City • mmission directs the City Manager to order an
appraisal of the Selva Preserve propert, .
SECTION 2: Authorizatio to Ex• en• U• to a Maximum of 15 000. The City
Manager is hereby authorized to , pend up to $ 1 000 for an appraisal and tasks related to
the appraisal for the Selva Press ye property.
SECTION 3: Effecti e Date. This Resolution s' . 11 take effect immediately upon its
