Water heating equipment installed in residential units shall meet the minimum efficiencies of Table C404.2 in Chapter 4 of the Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation.Commercial Provisions,for the type of equipment installed. Equipment used to provide heating functions as part of a combination system shall satisfy all stated requirements for the appropriate water heating category. The following sections are mandatory for cooling and heating equipment. R403.6.1 Equipment sizing.
